Right? Mihawk is certainly an interesting guy! I think he is what you say. Tsun tsun but not entirely cold-hearted. He's just so tsun it's hard for people to see past that. Also being terrified of him doesn't help either since he mostly encounters pirates and the like. But Shanks isn't afraid of him and kind of manhandles him into friendship. At least, that's my headcanon.
I was debating bringing it up in the analysis... I probably should have mentioned it come to think of it (and I might at the end) but I think the name of Wado was never mentioned because Zoro never asked and Koshiro never thought to tell him. The thing with Zoro is that he goes his own way. The only importance Wado has with him is that is carries the weight of the promise he made to Kuina. The deep past which Wado Ichimonji is a part of is not really Zoro's concern because the most he cares about is the future.
I doubt that Tashigi is Kuina, too. I know that there is a theory, but I think Kuina is very solidly dead. XD; One of my friends headcanons that Tashigi and Kuina (as well as Smoker and Zoro) are cousins, so make of that what you will.
Yubashiri means 'snow chaser'. I am not sure what exactly to make of it yet. I want to say it's the weight of Ippon's dream and yet whatever that was, he never shared with Zoro--at least not that we see. So while Ippon might value it as the representation of a dream-- I don't think that Zoro does. Perhaps it's just a katana but one that carries with it how much people believe in him as a swordsman...? I'm not sure. I'll have to think on it more but I'll definitely be bringing up Yubashiri again. (Shusui will come later XD)
Annnd yes, right. Loguetown. XD I tend to have wandering vowels. Thanks!
